About Me

Hey there! I'm Joseph Lee and I'm a creative professional transitioning from motion design to product design.

I graduated from Rhode Island School of Design, where I studied animation and motion design. I'm currently working as a motion designer at Macy's and I've recently completed a UXUI bootcamp at Thinkful.

Originally, my passion for creativity was ignited by the world of motion design. Through animation, storytelling, and visual effects, I found a medium to express ideas and evoke emotions. Over the years, I honed my skills in graphic design, motion graphics, and animation software.

However, as I delved deeper into the design industry, I realized my desire to expand beyond the confines of the screen. Through product design, I saw an opportunity to channel my creativity into crafting meaningful experiences that seamlessly combine form and functionality. I am fascinated by the intersection of technology, user experience, and aesthetics, and I am committed to creating products that not only delight users but also enhance their lives.

Drawing from my background in motion design, I bring a unique perspective to product design. I understand the importance of storytelling, rhythm, and flow in creating engaging experiences. I believe that design should not only be visually compelling but also intuitive and accessible

to everyone.

Outside of design, I spend my time playing volleyball, searching for the best hole in the wall restaurants, playing games, playing the guitar, playing with my dog, and singing in the shower.

I enjoy connecting with people so if you have any questions or just want to chat, feel free to contact me by email or phone!
